Brunch & a Littl' Sparkle: for the Bride-To-Be!

Weekends are always such a busy time of the week for me. However, last weekend I made the trip home to celebrate my brother’s fiancé! Their wedding is less than three months away, and the excitement is strongly growing! I am honored to say that I will be one of the bridesmaids supporting two people I love very much, and we decided to celebrate by throwing the bride-to-be a bridal shower! There is nothing I love more than brunch, a little bit of sparkle, and celebrating love!! Last weekend my sisters and I put together an elegant tablescape for a brunch bridal shower!

Thanks to the years of learning from my grandma and mom’s hosting advice, I like to think they taught me a thing or two on how to throw a celebration.

Take advantage of your living space, we decided to throw the shower out of our home. I set the scene with a simple pink tablecloth from Target. Adding some flowers is a must! Nothing like flowers can bring the table to life and really vamp up the color.

Put together a few trays of easy-to-eat fingers foods that pair well with your main course. Everyone loves fruits and veggies, plus they add a great pop of color to your spread. I placed a few of my favorite berries and fruit dips on top of granola and provided a couple different yogurt options.

Offering a sweet snack and having coffee available is always a guest favorite! Plus how cute is a cream and sugar spread!

Bridal showers are so much fun, especially when you love the bride as much as my fam does. I hope you all enjoyed reading my thoughts on hosting! Remember you can never have too much brunch, bubbly, or love!
